Pre- Registration for the PPS 2006 Annual Conference & Exhibition is now closed. We welcome you to join us on site in Miami and register at that time. The registration desk will be open for Pre Conference workshop registration on Wednesday, October 11 at 8:00 am and for Conference registration at 3:00pm.

Registration Information
The Private Practice Section of the American Physical Therapy Association welcomes all practicing physical therapists and administrators of private physical therapy practices to join us for this conference. Please see the information below to select which registration category fits for you.

The PPS Board of Directors approved these registration categories.

PT First Time Attendee and PPS New Member (joined last  12 months): A Physical Therapist member in good standing of the Private Practice Section, that is attending a PPS Annual Conference for the first time and joined the section within the last 12 months.
PT, PPS Member: A Physical Therapist member in good standing of the Private Practice Section.
PT, APTA, Non-PPS Member: A Physical Therapist member in good standing of APTA who does not hold membership in the Private Practice Section
PT, Non-APTA Member: A Physical Therapist who is not a member of APTA
Please Note: If you are a PT working as a practice administrator you must register in one of the four PT registration categories above, regardless of the position you hold within the practice.
Administrators Council Member: Non-PT practice administrators who subscribe to the PPS Administrators Service Subscription Program
Practice Administrator of a PPS-member: Non-PT serving as practice administrator for a PPS member who is not a subscriber.
Practice Administrator of a Non-member: Non-PT serving as a practice administrator for a non-PPS member.
 
Student: Non-PTs studying physical therapy.
 
Guest Registration: Guest/Spouse registration will be offered as a flat fee package, which includes access to the exhibit hall, and all general conference meal functions. Individual tickets to these events will be available on site only as noted in the registration policies. Guest/Spouse registration does not include access to conference educational programs, including the General Sessions or Town Hall/General Business Meeting. This category is limited to non-PTs only.
 
Exhibit Hall Only: Entrance to Exhibit Hall on Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13 during official exhibit hours. Exhibit Hall Only registrants will not have access to educational programming or social events outside of the exhibit hall.

Registration Policies:
Registrants must adhere to the categories listed above for registration to the annual conference. All admissions will be qualified by PPS once submitted and if the category a registrant selects does not match, a PPS staff member will be in touch with the registrant to discuss the difference in payment due.

Registration Fees for PTs, Practice Administrators and Students include:

  • Entrance to all Conference Educational Programs
  • Conference Materials
  • Advance access to educational handouts on the PPS website
  • All food functions:
    • Wednesday Night Welcome Networking Reception
    • Breakfast Thursday, Friday and Saturday
    • Lunch Thursday and Friday
    • Reception Thursday Night in the Exhibit Hall
    • Friday Evening Social Event

Registration fees for full Guest/Spouse category include:

  • All food functions:
    • Wednesday Night Welcome Networking Reception
    • Breakfast Thursday, Friday and Saturday
    • Lunch Thursday and Friday
    • Reception Thursday Night in the Exhibit Hall
    • Friday Evening Social Event
  • Entrance to the exhibit hall

Registration for the Pre- Conference Workshop is an additional fee. Attendance is limited.

Pre registration will close on September 23, 2006. After September 23, you must register on site at the PPS Registration Desk at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The Registration Desk will open on Wednesday, October 11, 2006.

Cancellations and Refunds:
All cancellation requests must be made in writing. A 10% handling fee will be assessed for cancellation requests postmarked on or before June 30, 2006. A 25% handling fee will be assessed for cancellation requests postmarked between July 1 and September 22, 2006. There will be no refunds for failure to attend or cancellations postmarked after September 22, 2006.

Full payment must accompany your registration. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
