In this webinar you will be given the financial planning tool that reverses the sequence in which you handle incoming funds and outgoing debits. True wealth in your personal and professional life is something that is generated through appropriate fiscal restraint in proportion to the volume of income coming in. You will learn the most common benchmarks to follow for future budgeting of your practice into next year. You will also be given tips for successfully managing your finances both incoming and outgoing like the top 10% of PT offices do across the country.

Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate the proper application of the financial planning spreadsheet on a weekly basis.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to evaluate based on metrics the degree of proficiency of your financial division for both bookkeeping and billing and collections.

This session provides an overview of how the compliance role has changed in the last ten years and and how compliance activities have changed throughout a physical therapy practice's exponential growth from 3 clinics to over 700. This course provides the tools and knowledge to immediately establish, scale and document compliance activities based upon a risk assessment tool, in order to establish the presence of a compliance program and mitigate potential risk in audits and investigations.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe compliance requirements for therapy practices, both large and small and Affordable Care Act (ACA) mandates.
  2. Describe the five key federal health care laws (enforcement), applicable state laws and their application to therapy practices and the danger of not knowing them.
  3. Explain why the Office of Inspector General describes “detecting problems” as the hallmark of an effective compliance program.
