2026 Peer2Peer NetWork Summit
The Peer2Peer NetWorks Summit brings together private practice leaders for an immersive, in-person experience centered on connection, collaboration, and real-world problem solving. Through facilitated discussions, small-group engagement, and networking, participants gain practical insights and build lasting relationships.

Below is a snapshot of what to expect at the Peer2Peer NetWorks Summit. All events (unless otherwise noted, such as dinner) take place at the APTA Centennial Center. Wednesday, April 29
3:30–6:00 PM - Registration: Opens at 3:30 p.m. ET (7th floor). Grab your name badge upon arrival.
- Where to Check In: Arrive at the APTA Centennial Center and check in at the front desk. A staff member will guide you to the 7th-floor event space.
4:00–5:00 PM - New Member Orientation for the Class of 2026.
5:15–6:15 PM - Opening Keynote "The Mind of a Leader" by Amy Lafko (Paris/Patla)
The foundation of leadership is not the ability to speak like a leader or act like a leader; it is to think like a leader. Skills can only be successfully implemented with the right mindset and intentions behind them.
In this interactive and experiential keynote presentation, Amy Lafko takes the audience into the mind of a leader with humor and storytelling from her personal and professional experience. Through “the tale of two leaders” listeners are encouraged to examine their own mindset and intentions of leadership. The audience is invited to explore aspects of their mindset and intentions. They will be challenged to let go of the outdated patient first mentality and shift their intentions to putting their people first.
6:15–7:15 PM - Networking Reception (open to all members)
7:30 PM - Group Dinners
- While dinner is not provided on Wednesday night, we will make a reservation for those new Peer2Peer members (class of 2026) so you can focus on getting to know each other and enjoying your evening. We’ll send out those details the week of the Summit. Stay tuned!
Thursday, April 30
7:00–8:00 AM - Breakfast on Your Own
- If you’d like to hop on the Metro as a group to the APTA Centennial Center, meet in the lobby of the Hyatt Centric Old Town at 7:45 AM. It’s a fun way to start the day together!
8:15–9:15 AM - "Shift Happens" by Justin Moore, PT, DPT & Mike Horsfield, PT, MBA
9:00 AM–5:30 PM - A full day of dedicated programming, including

Transportation & Parking
Airport
The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is less than 2 miles from APTA Centennial Center. In typical traffic, your commute from DCA should be 10 minutes or less.
Washington Dulles International Airport ( IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) are alternative airports. Both airports are 35 to 55 miles from the event location.
Metro
Getting around D.C./Alexandria just got easier! We've created a Metro Guide for Peer2Peer Summit Attendees with simple directions for navigating the D.C./Virginia area via Metro. It includes clear instructions for traveling to the APTA Centennial Center and Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria from Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA).
Parking near APTA Centennial Center
Event parking is not available in APTA’s garage during regular business hours. Guests driving to this event may find available parking at the Premium Parking lot just one block south of APTA. The lot entrance can be accessed by navigating to 2900 Potomac Ave.
