2026 Summit Pre-Work & Resources
To help you get the most out of the Peer2Peer NetWorks Summit, please review the resources below in advance.
These materials will provide shared context, introduce key concepts that will be referenced during sessions, and help you come prepared for meaningful discussion with your peers.
Your Most Important Pre-Work: KPI Calculator Walkthrough
Thank you for participating in the 2026 APTA Private Practice KPI Benchmarking Study. The survey results are now complete and available in your Vault portal, using the same login information you used to submit your data. Be sure to arrive at the Summit having reviewed your individual Benchmarking Report.
If you have any questions about how to access your data, please contact Ian Santo-Domingo at isantod@vaultconsulting.com.
If you have questions about the KPI Benchmarking Study, please contact Carrie Stankiewicz at cstankiewicz@ppsapta.org.
To help you analyze these results, watch this on-demand recording for a guided walkthrough of the KPI Calculator developed by APTA Private Practice.
In the video, Mike Horsfield demonstrates how to enter your metrics, navigate the tool's functionality, and compare your data against industry benchmarks. By unraveling the mysteries of the calculator, you will be able to spot key trends and identify where the greatest opportunities for improvement lie within your practice.
Before watching, please download the KPI Calculator and enter your metrics so you can follow along in real-time. This focused preparation ensures you arrive ready for meaningful, solution-oriented discussions with your Peer2Peer group.

APTA Private Practice Contracting Series:
Watch or Listen: Module 1: Yes You Can (even if you’re a small practice) & No They Can’t!
This module serves as an introduction to help you understand what matters to payers and where you have control or negotiating power. Our panel of experts will walk you through the issues and share contracting resources you can use to strategically assess and choose which contracts to negotiate.
This module helps establish a shared foundation for Summit conversations related to contracting, revenue strategy, and practice sustainability.
Note: While only Module 1 is required for Summit pre-work, the full 7-module series is available now for those who wish to continue their learning and dive deeper into advanced negotiation strategies and legal considerations. The program provides essential knowledge, practical tools, templates, and real-world insights to help you strategically assess contracts, understand financial impact, and advocate effectively for your practice and patients.

In this interactive and experiential keynote presentation, Amy Lafko takes the audience into the mind of a leader with humor and storytelling from her personal and professional experience. Through “The Tale of Two Leaders,” listeners are encouraged to examine their own mindsets and intentions of leadership. They will be challenged to let go of the patient-first mentality and shift their intentions to putting their people first.

To help groups get to know one another, a reservation has been made for each Class of 2026 group. Please note that dinner is self-funded, so everyone will be responsible for their own tab. You can view your group’s dinner reservation details here, or find them on the P2P Hub under the New Members page.
Reservations are under the name of someone randomly selected from your group—don’t worry, this doesn’t mean they’re responsible for the bill or on the hook if plans change.
If you don’t plan to use the reservation, just give Kat Castillo (kcastillo@ppsapta.org) a quick heads-up so we can cancel it and avoid any fees. Thanks!
